Developer banks on access
WITH the opening of the Cabancalan-Canduman Bridge, Northfield Residences, an accessible residential development in Mandaue City, was officially launched yesterday.
Situated in Canduman, the three-hectare development can be accessed through five points-Canduman, Talamban, Highway Man-daue, Tabok and Pagsabungan in Mandaue City.
Northfield is a flagship project of Colourfield Land Development Corp., which is under the Cebu Belmont Group Property Development Co.
Belmont has been in the hardware industry for 27 years and it has seen the growth of the housing industry.
“In our hardware stores, we have seen encouraging first quarter (sales) and the economy is quite positive. The housing industry is thriving, which is an indicator of how good an economy is,” said Chester Lim, president of Colourfield.
Its first project is for families seeking a relaxing city home. Its houses are affordable for professionals and entrepreneurs.
With 227 units, the 2-story residences are divided into single-detached, duplex and townhouses.
Midori, the name for the townhouse, occupies an average of 50 square meters and costs P1.9 million while Celadon or the duplex homes, with an area of 60 square meters, costs P2.4 million. Jade or the single house occupies an average of 82 square meters and costs around P4 million.
Residents will be able to enjoy a 24-hour security, a children’s playground, a clubhouse and linear gardens.
Residents can just walk going to the Sacred Heart School Jesuits and take a five-minute drive to the market, churches, commercial centers and the North General Hospital.
Pre-selling will be in June.
“We’re pleased that the interest level is high, because of the location and the commitment to high quality homes, and the relaxing aesthetics and environment of the development,” said Lim.
